When my fellow artistes from the Alcohol Ink Art Community said they were doing a paint along of Alcohol Ink Sunflowers for Ukraine, I jumped on board to join them. This piece of original alcohol ink artwork was the result.
It’s called Fire Sunflower because, while painting, I accidently dropped some Ember-colored (a reddish-orange color) ink on it. Since this is an abstract painting of a sunflower, I incorporated the “firey” color into the yellow sunflower.
An original painting makes lovely wall decor in your home or office. Or, place it on a dresser, countertop or office desk.
The painting is protected with several coats of Kamar varnish and an archival UV protectant to seal and prevent fading. Still, displaying alcohol inks in direct sunlight is not recommended.
Please note due to computer monitors (and lighting) differences in colors may vary slightly.
NOTE: The painting does NOT include the watermark seen on this image.
Size: 5” x 7” (unmatted & unframed).
